Gmail's recent changes and broken features

Hi list,

Things are broken right now and we're aware of it. To recap:

Google made changes to Gmail yesterday that broke several Better Gmail
features. Here are details on the change:

In order for the extension to work again, the script authors have to
update their scripts, then I have to release an extension update. This
may take a few days.

Here's what you can do to help: if there's a script that's not
working, from the addon's Options dialog's Help tab, click on the
script homepage and check to see if the author is aware it's broken
and working on it. If not, post to the script's forums to let him or
her know.

So far we know Folders4Gmail and Hide Spam Count are not working.
Arend, the author of those scripts, is on this list and is working on
fixing them.

Thanks for your patience, and for keeping in mind that these scripts
and this extension are a volunteer project.

I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this as well as the other
known issues, but with the 0.9.8 add-on installed, my Firefox v3.5.8
runs dog slow even when I'm not connected to Gmail. My laptop
actually appeared as if it was unresponsive, but it was only the mouse
cursor that would freeze completely for a long time. On my desktop,
the Firefox browser was the only app or service affected, and it too
would go completely unresponsive for long periods of time. I
uninstalled the add-on from both and this problem disappeared.

I am anxiously awaiting a fix, especially for the Folders4Gmail
component. My company just migrated us from Outlook/Exchange to Gmail
and I have a boatload of very long flat folder names which were synced
from my Outlook mail. The notion of "conversations" simply don't
apply to most business users, especially in engineering.

Folders 4 Gmail has been updated as of this afternoon and is now
working again as a stand along Greasemonkey Script...will Better Gmail
be updated as well?
