*Overview:*

Galen Technology Solutions is seeking a *Project Manager, ICD-10* for our
direct client located in *Newark, NJ*. This position is accountable for
supporting the Operational Stability and Neutrality work streams within the
larger ICD-10 program.

*Responsibilities:*

   -  This role will include working closely with the ICD-10 and IT program
   managers, work stream leads, and business area subject matter experts
   (SMEs) to ensure that appropriate metrics and reporting tools are created,
   proactive monitoring of key indicators is in place prior to the
   implementation date and solutions (including root cause analysis) are found
   for identified issues post-production.
   - This position will also oversee the Neutrality work stream, including
   serving as the lead contact for a planned external business partner
   engagement. This will include development of tolerance definitions,
   modeling of potential outcomes and analysis of results and determination of
   potential business changes to ensure variances are within acceptable limits.
   - This position includes direct accountability for project execution
   from beginning to end, assembling and leading the project team, delegating
   tasks, identifying, managing and negotiating resources, and communicating
   project related information to program owners and other appropriate
   stakeholders.
   - The position will require oversight of multiple resources within a
   multi-year effort that may vary in complexity and duration. This position
   will adhere to guidelines and processes to ensure that program objectives
   correlate with enterprise initiatives through communication and
   collaboration with the Program Management Office (PMO).

*Skills Required:*

   - Requires a bachelor degree
   - Requires Six Sigma Black Belt certification; Requires broad
   understanding of the impacts of ICD-10 across the    organization including
   financial/claims payment processes
   - Requires understanding of metrics identification development and
   monitoring
   - Requires knowledge of project management life cycles and related tools
   and practices
   - Requires excellent supervisory / management skills Requires strong
   analytical and problem solving skills
   - PMP certification a plus
