Hey guys,
forwarded on request by Anne:

Dear Developer Community!

Starting today, we are looking for a freelancer/service provider who can support Google's Developer-Outreach-Team in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as Developer Programs Support Associate.

In short: You will support Google’s Marketing- and DevRel-Team to organize and run scalable, regional outreach and activities engaging the developer community in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Expected work load fur supplier: approx 20hrs per month, duration of cooperation approx 6 months (maybe longer, depending on future projects). You must not be based in a Google-office-location (though you should be willing to travel there and to other events regularly).

A bit more details: As a Developer Programs Support Associate, you will support coordination of events. These can be Google owned or community owned, informal (discussion boards, casual meet-ups, non-affiliated user groups) and formal (Google IO Extended, participation at 3rd party events). Based on your technical expertise and community insights, you will also help DevRel and Marketing to identify key developers in the community who can potentially deliver content for developers.google.com, regional developer and Google blogs, and become speakers for events.
The job is not tied to a particular product assignment, but rather is regionally-focused in an attempt to drive interest in a broad range of developer products that are strategic to Google's success in various global regions. The service provider will work closely with Google’s local DevRel and Marketing and with the community (GTUGs/GDG). She/he needs to have at least a medium technical background across Google technologies, history as an active participant in developer communities, and insights in German-speaking and international developer scene and trends. Furthermore, she/he must have exceptional project/program management skills and have at least 2+ years experience in organizing and executing events (professional or semi-professional basis). Fluency in EN is also a key requirement for the cooperation.

If you are interested in working with us, please send us information that will help us understand why YOU are the perfect partner for this cooperation by May 13.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Anne (on behalf of Google's Developer-Outreach-Team in DACH)
