Hi there,

Moving to Rockridge from Cambridge and looking for a space to hang my
hat for a while. I need to take calls a few times per day. What's the
tolerance for noise/calls in the coworking space?

Looks like an ideal fit for me and look forward to checking things
out.

Thanks,
Eric Elia

Hi, Eric --

Congrats on your move. You're welcome to come by and try out the
space. As for phone calls, taking a few each day shouldn't be a
problem. We all make and take calls here. Short calls are certainly no
concern, and if we take longer calls, we simply move away from where
people are quietly concentrating.

Hope that helps. Looking forward to meeting you.

Thanks, Brian. I would expect to apply some common courtesy. Glad to
here there is a place to move to that is away from where people are
concentrating. Likely I will spend some time on phone/ichat each day
communicating with the home office back here in Cambridge. So good to
know.

Looking forward to meeting you guys - thanks for the only hospitality
and great website.

Sounds like with a lease on a desk one can get a key to open the
place? That may be something I do for July.

Thanks,
Eric

Eric,

To confirm and expand on Brian's note. Often if it is an extended call folk will go downstairs, which seems to give enough of a sound barrier not to interfere with the folk working at the desks upstairs.

Short calls don't seem to be a problem. (Actually, I suspect the periodic sound of a call is useful to prevent things from being too quiet).

But certainly drop on in, and see how the space feels to you. Renting a desk will indeed get you a key to open and come on your schedule, but you're free to drop in whenever.

Jonathan
