Hi Ryan,
I've been on this mailing list for a while, but also never made any of the
meetings yet. I'm a software guy who's looking to get into tinkering with
more hardware. I'd be more than happy to help you out with your python
questions. While I've really only played around with python a little bit,
I've been programming for the last 14 years and work as a software
engineer. I enjoy teaching and helping people new to programming, although
I haven't done a whole lot of it, and it's a good excuse for me to also
brush up on python. Feel free to contact me directly at

person if you're interested in getting help in that way.
