Hello,

One of the projects that I am working on is the Bellingham Startup Weekend - http://bellingham.startupweekend.org

It is a business sprint of going from idea to revenue over the weekend. Typically these events produce a website, phone app or tablet software that can be scaled easily. I have wondered what it would take to make things that were actual objects. I was having a conversation with Joe Justice from WikiSpeed in Seattle - http://www.wikispeed.com , and they do a lot of work using CAD and CNC. They were one of the groups that put forward a 100 mpg car. They are working to bring several of the habits of open source into manufacturing.

He suggested that if there were interest, he would be willing to bring some resources to the Startup Weekend.

So, I am looking for people who might have an idea that with a bit of focus and a bit of planning, might make a business idea out of CAD + CNC.

Is anyone interested in talking out this possibility?
