Hi, I'm new to the group and I'm a software developer rather than a
hardware guy. I'm wondering if there are other software people in the
group. If so, is anyone working on any interesting projects? My job
isn't too demanding right now, and the weather is getting worse, so
I'd like to pick up a side project. I'm interested in either starting
something new or contributing to an existing open source project.
p2pu.org is a very promising peer to peer education site that I'm
interested in contributing to. I was also looking through some of the
projects on www.rhok.org and some of them seem interesting.

Also, did I hear that someone in the group is working on a 3D printer?
I'm very interested in 3D printing, and would love to see it.

Hi, I went to the group once and I'm on the list. I live in
Bellingham... My software project is http://max.tunes.org. I could
use a pair programming partner. The next steps are to convert the
datastore to Berkeley DB, and to convert the graphics to lispbuilder.
