hey all

Just to keep you all informed. After a meeting with the team captains
this evenning it is with deep dissappointment that i have to tell you
that the draft league will not be taking place. Unfortunatley due to
flucuating no.s on different weeks and the queens team having inter-
varsity matches the league is not viable!!

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not to let all effort and excitment go to waste we have come up with a
solution of having just a 1 day event were the picked teams can play.

5th December 2009 Stranmillis Embankment beside the PEC 10.00-15.00

3 teams each playing each other twice and then a final of the top 2
teams.

so what are the teams i hear you cry!!!!

QUEENS
Alan Cooper (c)
Ben McFeeters
Chris Linter
Conor
Teddy
+others that i have lost the bit of paper i wrote them down on :(

TEAM A (original names i know....you can make your own up on the day)
Stephen Graham (c)
Marco McWatters
Windy Millar
Mark Patterson
Garry Hughes
and our only newbie.........Stevie G's beginner

TEAM B
Rob Lyndsay (c)
John Houston
David Hammond
Luke Carlisle
Henry Hiesh
Adam Glover
Stu Moore

so with those teams we are gonna be playing 5's but if more people
show up then we can move up to 6's or heaven behold 7's!!!!!!!
so if you are not on a team and want to be on one give me a shout and
remember to bring friends and family as it will be only one day now.
So hopefully more people will be able to attend since it is only one
day!

It will still be £2 per person but since we will be playing over lunch
il get a basic lunch for all you guys and girls.

so mark it in your diary/ipod/blackberry etc 5th December 10.00-15.00
Stranmillis Embankment

any questions again give me a shout.
p.s. Spread the word
Many Thanks

Windy

Hello all

i would like to take this oppertunity to thank all those that attended the draft league. Appologises again that it could not have been bigger but i believe it was a good starting point to make something bigger next time :D

i hope all who did attend had fun and well played to everyone involved. It was 3 great enjoyable matches.
It was also good to see the Queens team come on leaps and bounds and Kudos goes to Alan for getting the team up and running. it has showed that you have been trainning together with a good bunch of players. (Alan please thank all from the Queens team for turning up)

As i said it was a 1st run of this and i hope to try and orgainse maybe one for the spring time. If you have any feedback about how things went please let me know so next time we can improve or if you want to get involved in the running of the next one again more than welcome.

once again thank you and see you all @ the Xmas Cracker
