to Beijing Ultimate
Hello again you flatball fanatics of far and wide. Betsy has returned
after a long, much needed vacation to once again take up her post as
weekly informant of all things Beijing Ultimate related.

Along with Betsy, another dear member of Beijing Ultimate has returned
from far away lands to once again grace Beijing with his presence. Our
good friend Chris Boehner has just returned from a Turkey to Beijing
bike journey which has left him with some of the worst saddle sores
Betsy has ever seen. But don't let that dissuade you ladies, after
months on the trail with nothing more than a sock he affectionately
named "Betsy" to provide him with the comfort he so needed, he has
returned to Beijing to once again take up his self appointed title of
"most eligible bachelor." So line up, ladies, for a chance to ride
"tandem" with this stud (of course Betsy gets first dibs, seeing as
she did have a sock puppet named after her and all...)

With that being said, let's move on.

WEEKLY ITEM #1: The Weekly Schedule

Wed, 11/28: Pickup BCIS 7-9 30: As our dear friend Joe reminded us of
last week, numbers have been dwindling with the coming of Winter.
Betsy feels the need to remind you all if you want to have a shot with
Betsy, you should probably come and run off some of those Thanksgiving
pounds you put on. Betsy will be doing her best to keep in shape (see:
riding tandem with Chris Boehner) and hopes to see some of those faces
that have been MIA from Beijing Ultimate in recent weeks.

Sun, 12/2: Sunday pickup, but Betsy isn't sure where yet. If anyone
has information on this send it along. Betsy assumes meeting time and
place will be the same, leaving from Dongzhimen at 2.

WEEKLY ITEM #2: Shout Outs/ Call Outs

This is the part of the email where Betsy takes the time to both
praise and put down those who have been newsworthy in the Beijing
Ultimate scene. Since Betsy has been MIA for the past few weeks, some
of these shout outs and call outs are going to go back before this
past week.

A SHOUT OUT to everyone who has been consistently making it to
Wednesday and Sunday ultimate.
A CALL OUT to those who haven't. Lame.
A SHOUT OUT to Candice and Joe for heading down to Tianjin to hang out
at Tianjin's ultimate carnival, which Betsy has been told was a great
success.
A SHOUT OUT to Edward, for hosting said carnival
A CALL OUT to Peter Rountree, who's departure has left Yin with only
one Rountree brother, dashing all hopes she had of convincing them to
"try some new things" with her.
A CALL OUT to Donald, for once again cheating his way to victory in
dice at the most recent Dice Tournament/BBQ at Ryan's
A SHOUT OUT to all those who have been helping to keep Beijing
Ultimate running smoothly. These people put a lot of effort into
organizing fields, managing finances, and setting up transportation. A
big thanks goes out to them
A CALL OUT to Chip, for inaccurately informing the whole of Beijing
Ultimate as to when to arrive to his show on Saturday night

WEEKLY ITEM #3: Social Calendar

Candice, our Beijing Ultimate social coordinator, has already informed
us all of the "artistic gymnastics and trampoline international
competition" coming up this weekend. Betsy was asked to participate,
but respectfully declined, fearing that an increase of Betsy's fan
base (an obvious outcome of participation) would only add to an
already overwhelmingly overcrowded inbox.

WEEKLY ITEM #4: Weekly Quiz

The weekly quiz is a time when Betsy asks a piece of trivia, normally
from pop culture of years past. The first to correctly answer this
week's question will be the lucky winner of Betsy, Chris's sock which
he has neglected since arriving in Beijing. (Note: Chris requires that
you return said sock before his travels through Africa). As always, if
you use the internet, Betsy will find out and as a result your family
may or may not disappear.

To win this week's quiz you'll need to provide the name of the song,
album and artist of this 1972 hit:

Sailors fighting in the dance hall
Oh man! Look at those cavemen go
It's the freakiest show

That's it for this week, kiddos. Betsy is just getting back into her
groove and just starting to get the juicy gossip again, so give Betsy
a couple weeks to get back into the loop and provide you with the
truly important information that so many of you turn to these weekly
updates for.

that's bowie's "life on mars" from ziggy stardust. that album changed my life. of course, the best lyric from it is easily when ziggy's band mates start getting mad that ziggy is getting all the fame due to his virtuoso guitar work and massive cock:

so we bitched about his fans / and should we crush his sweet hands?--oh!

what an album.

wildau, care to elaborate how ziggy cam about possessing such a large rooster? I just hope he wasn't into fighting them, which is a violent industry that no one in their right mind should support.

oh also, all who frequent the pages of our virtual ultimate network, please be careful or your language. though no one can control Betsy's mouth, we try to maintain a family show.

just a friendly reminder in no relation whatsoever to any comments posted on 4:32 pm Nov. 27, 2007 to the listserve.

cheers!
