hey frisbots,

you mindless drones out there, your weekly plastic feeding will come courtesy of the largest frisbee event ever to hit the capital.  if it doesn't get cancelled first.  so oil your joints, empty your trash cans, and do whatever else it is that robots do before a long and arduous weekend of frisbification.  china nationals have arrived!!!!!

WEEKLY ITEM #1:  The Weekly Schedule

Wednesday May 28, Frisbee Golf and Pick Up, 8-10.

35 RMB a head now, unless you are a current Chinese student

Road, SE of Chaoyang Park
call jim for details about frisbee golf festivities earlier in the day.

Saturday-Sunday May 31-Jun 1st, China Nationals.  See below for more details.

Because of the close scrutiny from the government, the less noise we make the better.  Please keep guests to a minimum, especially on saturday.  We don't want to get shutdown.

here's where you can find the map to the fields:

c) play cards and board games while char bakes cookies for everyone.

WEEKLY ITEM #2: Upcoming Events

The Shanghai Tournament, June 21-22, Shanghai.

the tournament fee is an egregious 500 rmb per player.  let the shanghai players hear what we think about it while they are in town.

Future Tournaments:

―8 30--31 ―― Singapore

―Late October ―― Hong Kong

Thank you Betsy.....it is going to be an amazing weekend.

I would also like to assure everybody that as long as we are on our
best behavior, we should be fine. The local authorities have been
cracking down on large events, but we are well outside of central
Beijing and while our group is big, but it's not that big.

Besides...Reid won't be around to provide us with his landshark....so
I think we are in the clear.
