As pointed out in Alicia's email earlier this morning, my year in
Beijing is coming to an end in a week. I have two things to get rid
of, let me know if you're interested in either.
1. I have a bike that isn't so derelict as to abandon, but not worth
so much either. I inherited it from a friend about eight months ago.
It's one of those Fuzi bikes that Walmart sells (for about 300 kuai?)
It has a lock, bell, package holder - you know, the thing on top of
the back wheel, whatever that's called in English - but no basket. I'm
currently not using it because both tires need replacing. Let me know
what/if you're willing to pay me for it. I figure it's worth about one
drink at this point, and that's a fine form of payment. Otherwise I'm
giving it to a friend who collects orphaned bikes.
2. When I was in South Korea about 10 months ago, I apparently left
with South Korean money that I recently found and have little use for.
If anybody is planning to go to South Korea - visit or visa run - and
wants to switch my 45,000 won for the equivalent amount of RMB, let me
know!
Happy Monday!
