So evil really does beat good. Now we all know.

First week was GREAT! Lots of discs flying, little hulks diving, and a
few kids learning a thing or two from the veterans. Fantastic!

I'll be sending out some info to captains (stuff like "Gee, I should
buy an air horn to let you know about time") about tweaks for next
week that they should pass along to ya.

Don't forget to swing by Kingy's after all the disc. There were three
lonely girls lurking in the bar looking for some action to no avail on
Sunday (No, one of them wasn't Betsy, she was already hitting on one
the HS kids. Can you believe her pick up line was "I majored in math.
Want to study some time...").

The standings...

Evil 2 0
HS Red 1 1
Kingy's 1 1
Bang 1 1
Good 1 1
HS Blue 1 1
MS Red 1 1
MS Blue 0 2

I think first off you need to define what is good and what is evil to really decide that one.  But we'll need more than 4 hours of field time for that.

Anyways, I want to say thank you to all the experienced players who were helping people out.  I heard kids saying "the old guy told me i could" (i dunno who wants to be the "old guy") and that" that girl told me i should throw it like that."  So even while you were taking the time to beat up on the little kids (and the faculty team) you at least point out why you were spanking us.  I mean even Tao took the time to explain why he was actually better than me, and not in fact cheating as i suspected.  It really is helpful for us new people even if we get uppity in the process.  So thanks.

Oh and finally, can we stop fouling Sandy every time she touches the disk.  I know its fun, and it gives her plenty of opportunities to show us how to properly throw in the wind... but she can only take so many hits a game.

yup,
andy

"A man's at odds to know his mind cause his mind is aught he has to
know it with. He can know his heart, but he dont want to. Rightly so.
Best not to look in there. It aint the heart of a creature that is
bound in the way that God has set for it. You can find meanness in the
least of creatures, but when God made man the devil was at his elbow.
A creature that can do anything. Make a machine. And a machine to make
the machine. And evil that can run itself a thousand years, no need to
tend it. You believe that?

"I dont know.

"Believe that."

--Cormac McCarthy, Blood Meridian

You look inside the depressed chest of Doc and Jim and Betsy and all
those piteously deceived ensnared in Team Evil's web of Iniquity and
see a blackened gourd amid a depraved hollow, Argus-eyed Sinister
perched in its sulphurous Aerie, ready to molt char and ash to lay
bare the face of Evil itself upon our unsuspecting world, stippling
the sky with drops of antic blood and fire. The face that descends
upon you, like the succubus, is symmetrical and seductive, and wholly
evil. If you must look, do not be charmed. Tie yourself to the mast.
This is your warning. Evil shall not and will not prevail. Believe
that.

Love,

All That is Good in the World
