EPIC HAT TOURNAMENT!! SUNDAY!! 周日！

Greetings!

Who is ready for an epic (I hate that everyone uses the word epic so
much) weekend?

First: epic holiday for Americans (no one else cares) complete with
cake!

Second and most important: a hat tournament to kick of the summer
league season that can only be described as…. Epic!! I am serious this
time.

We have the fields at Happy Valley from 2 until 6 so get ready to rock
a round robin! Epic!

There will be one (slightly less that epic) van at Dongzhimen but the
rest of the people are going to have to cab it down. If you would like
to enter the van lottery please come to the Dongzhimen Macdonald’s at
1pm.

If you are in the CBD area or don’t want to deal with the epic fight-
to-the-death I will referee for a spot in the van meet at the Modern
SOHO (Da wanglu subway stop on line one) at 1:15pm. People will be
cabbing it down from there. Dare I say it… epic.

Please bring a light and a dark and water to the field.

Since I have come in second during both of this year’s hat tourneys
(beating DOC both times, epic) I will be ready to win for my country
this weekend. (Everyone else is actually Canadian, don’t ya know. It
is America’s hat!)

Hey everyone,
As I hastily left in the storm, I seemed to have forgotten my SIGG water bottle (swiss metal one) that says "Think Green" on it. I hope somebody has it and can return it.  Otherwise I will be forced to longer think green and waste many plastic bottles like a heathen or return to my cancer-causing nalgene.  Plus my mommy gave it to me :-(

Thanks for making it out to the hat tourney on Sunday. I'm
disappointed that lightning forced us to abandon the fields, but
that's pretty much the only thing that could have stopped play.

Just a reminder that we start up for real this coming Sunday at 3
p.m., same fields. Carpools will organize themselves from Dawanglu,
subway exit B, at 2:15 p.m. We'll let you know later this week if
there'll be a van again from Dongzhimen.
