Me? 51 years old...never needed to "simple data mine"

Bought my Python book back in 04-05...and gave it away when "RUBY on
Rails" was the buzz.

This looks like what I need... I don't have time... 2-3 simple sites
to do first.

a: Parse the html etc....from the sites

b: Data then "parsed" for keywords

c: Results to to be scripted with php into MySql tables (temp
tables per site) Brought into master DB table set and all need to be
cron updated individually....(tracked also) should they drop from the
original source.

Any takers? (smile)

Hello Martin, and thank-you for the reply.

Truthfully? If I wanted to sit and spend all my time rejecting bids
and deleting "I / WE can do it's" I would have. It's a total waste of
time.

This project needs to get done...and not useless time spent reading
useless responses to unqualified "Teams in India", which what I
classify as a group of 1st graders, led by the teacher..(collecting
the $$$) and then stalling, while once again subcontracting out
deeper...or my time spent "teaching them".

All bs aside? By the time "that process" is used? I could more than
likely just have done it myself, but I have other parts of the project
that need completion, and this is part of the puzzle.

Again, thank's for the reply...but no thanks.

Jim

FYI  ,
There  is a private auction system in RAC /GAC  etc   where you can just choose the coder you want and not spend time over reading bids . Maybe a time saver in your case
