I just thought I'd pass on a blog I put together on implementing long-
running jobs with Ruby. The solution utilizes beanstalk to get the
job done.

As far as I'm concerned, beanstalkd rocks. Its one of those rare few
projects I've encountered that just works.

Thanks! It's really encouraging to hear this. That was exactly one of
the original design goals: it should just work.
