Well, I guess not. Beanies in a sense are now the same but different.

The Beanies 2.0 have new tags with codes and online lives. The web
site has had a major make over.

Images will be posted soon.

It is more active and interactive with video clips and various entry
points for Beanies, 2.0 Interaction and Ty Girlz who oddly have their
own area yet remain on the Beanie page where the Heart used to be.

2.0 Beanies are listed along with the Beanies category on the Ty site
lists. Because there is no distinction there, The same paatern of
listing Beanies and 2.0 Beanies together is being followed on the My
Collection for Beanies value and inventory calculator  where the
Beanies and the Beanies 2.0 are listed together alphabetically.
