[Beagleboard] show U-boot splash screen

Hi,

 

I have patched U-boot and can display the orange screen through DVI output, without frame buffer setup. But when the kernel is loaded, the orange screen just dispeared. How can I keep this screen until the Linux kernel show what its content.  The black screen makes my crazy. :-)

How did you patch u-boot to display an orange screen?  I would love to see examples on how you did this and any progress you may have made since February.  Thanks!
