to Beagle Board
Hi,

I'm a newbie who got my Beagleboard this week - very nice!!

I've done the the diagnostics as explained on Google project
successfully and booted Koen Kooi's Angstrom demo successfully with
DVI connected to a friend's LCD display.

My problem is that I don't have an LCD display to use the DVI output
of the Beagleboard and will have to live with the S-Video output for
now. I know there are a few post from people having the same issue,
but as I'm new to ARM and Linux I'm not sure what/how to do to get the
S-Video to work as my primary output.

Can someone explain how to proceed to get S-Video working as primary
ouput? Can the Angstrom demo output to S-Video by default?

Thanks in advance.

Willem

Angstrom currently uses the linux-omap git tree kernel and that does
not yet support the S-Video.

I believe you can hack in S-Video support using the patch available at:

For the top of the tree, this is an updated version -
