Hi,

This is Subhadra, I just started working on Beagle Board xM rev C. for
first time with default files in card my Beagle board booted but
after formatting the SD card using http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/LinuxBootDiskFormat
link. there are some problems i am facing while using it-

Right now i am using all default files in boot partition.

a) it is not booting ( I am using minicom with serial cable( pl 2303)
connected to BB.).

b) About the LEDs, while connecting to supply of 5v, LED D-13(Red one)
and D-14(Yellow one) blink one time and LED D5 is continuous
glowing and on disconnecting supply that D-13 blinks
once again. No other LEDs are glowing or blinking at all.

I have verified all voltages at board given in reference manual and
they are correct.

I have 2 same boards both are having same issues. Plz help me on this.
Do reply.

regards-
Subhadra

Sounds like the LEDs are working fine. Which SD card are you using to boot from?

Are you getting any messages from the serial port? If not, then you may have trashed your SD card. Also make sure that you DO NOT touch the User Button during the boot process.

If you need to remake the SD card follow the instructions here:

I am also having the same problem. Booted up first time using "xMTEST
beta 4-25". Tried another release on a different card- did not boot. I
tried the original one that came with it and now I am just getting a
flash on d14 and d13 and a solid on d5. Also, no power to my USB
keyboard anymore.

Help?

Thanks,

Devon
