How to generate MLO file, i want to know what exactly MLO contains. Is MLO and
x-load.bin.ift are same?

Yes, MLO and x-load.bin.ift are the same.  You can build it yourself following these instructions:  http://elinux.org/BeagleBoard#X-Loader

just i have to rename x-load.bin to mlo? it works?
 
What debug statements come after running this MLO file on hyperterminal?

Not quite, "x-load.bin" and "x-load.bin.ift" aren't quite the same thing...  However, MLO and "x-load.bin.ift" are the same thing and you can just rename it.  To convert "x-load.bin" to "x-load.bin.ift" you need to use signGP which you can download (or download source and build) from here: http://code.google.com/p/beagleboard/wiki/BeagleSourceCode

i built MLO file using signGP but it is not booting. i followed the steps as mentioned below link
but it is not booting. please let me if i missed something?
 
I modified serial UART3 to UART1 for our board which is similar to beagle board.

What board are you using...?  Does it have a boot ROM that even looks for an MLO file...?

Have you built the SD card properly...?  Are you holding down USER and pressing RESET to change the boot order to SD card first...?
