resulting in the formation of two new firms. Mr. Duncan’s services were

PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (YVR)
Vancouver, B.C.

Prepared final concept, design drawings, details and cost estimates for
this high profile boulevard and entry landscape adjacent to the new
terminal building. Drawings and rendered materials were created with a
combination of cadd, desktop publishing, and traditional manual
techniques.


DEER LAKE PARKWAY
Burnaby, B.C.

Designed and directed the installation of landscape works. Responsible
for preparation of planting scheme and construction documents for this
major road works project. Key issues included buffering of adjacent
residential lands and minimizing disturbance to the adjacent Deer Lake
Park. Issues of aesthetics and budget were balance to produce a
workable solution. Drawings were developed using Autocad 11.


CHESTER CREEK DEVELOPMENT
Mission, B.C.

Prepared complete master plan concept for this 40 hectare site
including 140 residential units, village core, 18 hole golf course,
and open space reserve system. This project is currently under review
by the District of Mission and the ALR.


NOONS CREEK PATHWAY
Port Moody, B.C.

This challenging project combined ecosystem reconstruction with the
development of a public amenity through the removal of an existing
service road.


RICK HANSEN SECONDARY SCHOOL
Abbotsford, B.C.

Responsible for the final design and field services for this complete
institutional landscape which included a sand- based running track and
synthetic-surfaced track.


ROBERT BATEMAN SECONDARY SCHOOL
Abbotsford, B.C.

Provided field services for the sand-based field and synthetic-surfaced
running track.


WALNUT GROVE
Langley, B.C.

Directed and inspected installation of sand-based field and
synthetic-surfaced track. Instructed Contractor in remedial actions
necessary due to breach of specifications.


KENARY COVE at BOAT HARBOUR
Nanaimo, B.C.

Initial planning for this luxury resort community required the
development of a complete biophysical inventory and
opportunities/constraints analysis. Public presentation boards were
prepared using a combination of WordPerfect 6.0, Pagemaker 4, and
hand-rendering.


MacINTYRE CREEK GOLF COURSE
Coquitlam B.C.

Responsible for the collection, compilation and editing of technical
information necessary for re-zoning of this property. Information
included biophysical, social, legislative, and legal were essential to
the study. Worked as a liaison between various sub-consultants and
government agencies to assure rapid and efficient flow of information.
Also prepared preliminary guidelines for interpretative trail system
and passive amenity spaces.


GLOUCESTER GOLF COURSE
Langley, B.C.

A championship golf course designed as an ecologically sensitive buffer
surrounding an industrial park. Responsible for development of a
biologically based wastewater management proposal. Prepared detailed
cost estimating and alternate scenario planning using advanced
spreadsheet techniques.
