Join our team in Delta in the position of:
Interior Design Consultant
As an Interior Design Consultant with Henry Schein Canada you will initiate, coordinate and manage complex design projects working closely with our Customers and fellow team members, providing above average customer service. You will create technical drawings, including equipment plans, partition and electrical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Provide the best design layouts available to the dental profession.
? Ensure the utilization of state of the art design tools.
? Oversee large programs, both design and equipment projects from start to completion.
? Create technical drawings ? including equipment plans, partition, and electrical; as well as complete detail drawings.
? Act as a resource, working closely with our Equipment Sales Specialists in the planning and execution of large and complex projects.
? Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the Planning and Design team to facilitate an uninterrupted environment.
? Work with our Sales Consultants to determine optimum office space layout and design.
? Consult with Customers regarding their design needs, and offer recommendations.
? Assist in facilitating information sessions for internal/external groups.
? On site participation and prospecting will be critical to the success of this role.
? Aid in the development of the value added benefits that the Planning and Design team bring to the Henry Schein Canada team and the dental profession in general.
? Coordinate schedules for site inspections during construction project from the beginning through to completion.
We are looking for someone who has completed a post secondary education in Design with a minimum of two years experience in planning and design in a related field. Knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code will be required. You will have proven computer design skills including significant experience using software including AutoCAD, Revit or 3D applications; Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Effective communication skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure due to deadlines, workloads and interruptions while responding to changing priorities and questions will lead to success in this role.
