We are seeking a SR Wireless Handset/Cellphone Systems Architect for our Vancouver, BC based client.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the definition, feature and performance requirements for cutting edge handset/mobile broadband RFIC chipsets.
- System level feasibility, analysis, budgeting, battery life, performance optimization

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in EE
- 10+ years of experience in the Wireless semiconductor industry, with significant experience working for handset/mobile phone manufacturers
- Experience having defined broadband wireless architecture for mobile/handset silicon chipsets, and brought from concept though to high volume production.
- Broad and detailed understanding of overall handset architectural considerations, including multiple RF interfaces, Power Managements, Baseband and Application processors
- Detailed understanding of end-to-end broadband wireless network architecture and performance considerations for emerging air interface standards such as WiMAX, 3G, B3G, LTE and 4G technologies
- Understanding of RFIC and DSP technologies
- Innovative and creative leader, with excellent communication skills

ASSETS:
- MS or PhD in EE
- Ability to speak Mandarin or Korean
- Experience in wireless system analysis including link budgets, channel modeling, MIMO processing.
