Our Vancouver based client is currently seeking to hire an Intermediate or Senior Firmware Development Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop firmware for leading edge storage semiconductor products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSEE or BCS
- 3-6+ years experience in designing low level embedded software/firmware
- Strong C and assembly skills
- Good understanding and experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills

DESIRABLE:
- Experience working on SCSI and other related technologies such as SAS/SATA,
FC, RAID, iSCSI
- Having implemented RAID protection algorithms
- Previous experience developing on MIPS architecture.
- Knowledge of OS driver architectures
