My tattered and ripped MEC Bernoulli Gore-Tex jacket is ready for
retirement after 12 years of heavy use.

I see that MEC has discontinued Gore-Tex in their cycling jackets, and
is now using Entrant EV and DT fabric instead. I have tried these
fabrics before and still prefer Gore-Tex. So who is still making good
Gore-Tex cycling jackets and where in Vancouver can I get one?

TIA.

We were all just lurking, wondering if anyone else was really out there
. . . <G>

BTW Can't help you as I live in Banff - but am pretty dismayed with MEC
and their business model these days.

I would try the Sugoi factory outlet store, Taiga works, or
one of your local bike shops.

I think the quality of MEC's cycling gear has dropped, also
their designs have less reflective stripping.
