Did someone has tested BBEdit on OS X 10.9?
For me very buggy. Practicly couldn't save none. Crashes with "wait" cursor :(

Since there's a new OS in beta, it's time for this reminder again:

* Mac OS X 10.9 is pre-release software.

* We do not support the installation or use of BBEdit on
pre-release versions of the OS.

* If you have problems, file a bug report with Apple.

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they
sedate me.

Apparently you have.

I expect that Bare Bones got their first information about 10.9 on Monday.
They _might_ have installed it on a machine by now.

Also DP1s are *always* very buggy and unstable. Heck, often DP2s are as well. The bugs are most likely Apple’s and I’m not sure mean much until around DP3 by which time developers have had time to think about how to handle the release. Developer previews are for developers. They shouldn’t be used as production machines unless you’re really feeling extremely reckless.

I'm holding my breath in anticipation of the release after next. Whether it will be called 10.10 or 11.0 ... :-)

You'd think when dropping the cat name convention they'd bump the major number, but they didn't. Quick, everyone! Name your cat "Mavericks" and post pictures online to cover for Tim's gaffe. :-)

Just following up to say that I've written all of my "Hands on with Mavericks" articles for Macworld in BBEdit on Mavericks and haven't had any problems.

I know I had to do something when I first ran it (besides register it). Oh, download some new bundle of Command Line Utilities. Other than that, it’s been working just fine.

To be fair, I’ve not been using Mavericks much so far.

And please don't forget to file bug reports with Apple about anything that
didn't (or doesn't :-).
