[ANN] BBEdit 10.1.1 (3123) pre-release

Since the 10.1 release, we've incorporated a few fixes and
refinements. A pre-release build is now available with those
changes. (This build incorporates the changes from 3121, which
you can read about here: <http://groups.google.com/group/bbedit/msg/10ad29d8f28d68a1>.)
Note that this is a _pre-release_ version. The intent is to fix
bugs and address areas of improvement based on what our
customers have reported. However, since the software is at this
point not fully tested, there _may_ be bugs and regressions. If
this prospect makes you nervous, then sticking with the public
release versions is your best course of action. Nobody will be
offended if you choose to do so; you're under no obligation to
install and use anything but a public release. :-)
Following is a summary of the changes in the software since the
last public release. The change notes are organized into
additions, changes, and fixes, and are annotated where
appropriate with case numbers. So if you recognize a number
corresponding to a support case that was opened for you, you can
now verify that it's been fixed correctly.
One final note: If you run into a bug in a pre-release version,
PLEASE DO NOT REPORT THE BUG TO THE LIST. This includes asking
about whether others have seen the same problem. Instead, please
send a bug report to <sup...@barebones.com> and we will deal
with it there. This will help us keep the list discussion on
topic and productive for all list members.

* [DOC] The site setup panel (for each site in the BBEdit ->
Setup ->
Sites list) now contains an "Addressing:" setting. This
lets you
control the default addressing used when generating links
for anchor
and image (and other tags with URI attributes). The
settings are:
* Automatic (pre-10.1.1 behavior): When the linked file
is in the
same folder or a descendant of the document, generate
the link
relative to the document. Otherwise, generate the link relative
to the site root directory.
* Relative to site root: Always generate the link
relative to the
site root directory.
* Relative to document: Always generate the link relative
to the
document.
* [218300] The "Strip trailing whitespace" and "Ensure file
ends with
line break" options can now be configured per-language, if desired.

* [225653] Fixed bug in which certain changes to language-specific
preferences would not take effect when they should have.
* [224507] Fixed bug in which save authentication was inappropriately
attempted in a case where it was unnecessary; specifically: a
document with only dirty state and no content changes.
* Normalized the behavior of Un/Comment when applied to text enclosed
in block comment delimiters; this also ensures that
HTML/XML text is
commented correctly when using this command.
* [NFR] [225898] Fixed bug in which inappropriate comment delimiters
were used for languages in which no line delimiter was specified.
