  I&#39;ve always loved how Pages shows invisible characters (like line-breaks) when you&#39;ve selected them, like this: &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;And I&#39;ve always wanted the same thing in BBEdit. I like to see them, but having them always on can be cluttering. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;A bolt of inspiration hit my brain today and I figured out how to do it, just turn on &amp;quot;Show Invisible Characters&amp;quot; and set the &amp;quot;Spaces&amp;quot; color to the same as the background (in whatever theme you&#39;re using. This is what you get:

  Hello - I&#39;m trying to work out a search and replace syntax to the following &lt;br&gt; numbers: &lt;br&gt; 1,4 &lt;br&gt; I want to add a &amp;quot;_&amp;quot; to the first number (&amp;quot;1_&amp;quot;) and repeat to the value of &lt;br&gt; the next number. so 1,4 would end up being &lt;br&gt; 1_1 &lt;br&gt; 1_2 &lt;br&gt; 1_3 &lt;br&gt; 1_4 &lt;br&gt; I can&#39;t work out the syntax - can anyone help?? &lt;br&gt; with thanks! &lt;br&gt; dom.

  <title type="html">ePub files in a BBEdit Project?</title>

  Hello all, &lt;br&gt; I am trying to create a BBEdit Project that will contain an ePub file I&#39;m &lt;br&gt; working on. &lt;br&gt; I can add the ePub file to the Project (it shows up in the sidebar) but is &lt;br&gt; not openable/editable. &lt;br&gt; I can open the ePub file directly as a file, but not include it in a &lt;br&gt; project. &lt;br&gt; Is this not possible? Is it planned?

  Via AppleScript, can I ask BBEdit what the current document&#39;s programming &lt;br&gt; language is?   I just upgraded to version 10.5.3. &lt;br&gt; I find that when I open a file and do a &amp;quot;save as&amp;quot; it no longer defaults to &lt;br&gt; saving in the same directory as the original file. In the new version &amp;quot;save &lt;br&gt; as&amp;quot; defaults to the last folder where a file was saved. Is there any way to &lt;br&gt; set this in preferences?

  Hi, &lt;br&gt; I was wondering if others have noticed a slow down in BBEdit lately. &lt;br&gt; Basically when I fire it I get beach balling and it takes a good few &lt;br&gt; seconds before it becomes available (this on a rMBR with 8GB of RAM). I&#39;m &lt;br&gt; also using BBEdit with a project that has about 4000+ files. Clicking in &lt;br&gt; the Project view is painful (basically nothing happens for good seconds).

  I&#39;m using the latest BBEdit as of this writing (10.5.3). &lt;br&gt; Problem: sometimes BBEdit sizes windows such that the title bar is under &lt;br&gt; the menu bar and thus cannot be clicked. On these occasions the window is &lt;br&gt; also very tall; I&#39;m not sure if it fills the full height of my screen but &lt;br&gt; it does at least sometimes.
