Piper is spinning out of control.  This is very regrettable. 

Warren knows so much (he is smart) and he tells people what they WANT to hear. Just like Warren did to Mike Horton "i am a monergist and i affirm the 5 solas." Hogwash. 

Warren needs to get saved. He does not preach penal substitution (but he says he believes it), he does not preach repentance (but he says he believes it), i have personally seen drama at his church, i have personally seen women preach at his church, i have personally heard governmental atonement preached at saddleback. 

Purpose driven life was horrible, etc. but he tells all this (or the opposite) to Piper, and Piper believes it? 

Refute those who contradict - NOT GIVE THEM A PLATFORM and now we will have all the PIPER followers doing the same, and more. 

Now Piper is talking about separation?  please. nice try, but sadly  and poorly articulated. 

I could say much more, but here is my only comment:  this, sadly, does not shock me. I just pray it does not get worse.
