Hello everyone,
My new BlackBerry Curve 9350 arrived today!!!  I've been busy with other things that came up urgently, but now have the device up and running just the way I need it to be.  I'll do the podcast in the morning and once uploaded will send the link to the group!!!

Hey everyone, just was wondering, for those who have used the screen reader, what applications does it work with? In particular, does it work with the web browser and any third party apps? I've heard that it doesn't but thought I would ask.

Mike,

I'm in the process of recording a podcast this morning and will update
everyone today on the accessibility of the screenreader for BlackBerry!!!
Please keep in mind however, this is a version 1 release with updates coming
out in future which will fix some things that might seem to be problematic
or buggy for others at present.

I guess I'm wondering, at this point, does the blackberry offer any advantage over the iphone or android? I have both here, although I use android as my primary platform, one reason being that there are phones with built in keyboards, which of course the blackberry has. In particular, can you download and install apps? Can you browse the web, how about GPS navigation.

I think one advantage would be a tactile phone with a small footprint. It's also a very keyboard-centric os, which might be more comfortableto use.
