I've been looking at the new Preview of Windows 8. I see again that
windows has borrow (intentionally or unintentionally) ideas from
SlickRun, but still manages to leave out the details that keep me
running SlickRun (notably Jot, magicwords, and an always-on-the-screen

usability: slickrun delete multiple keywords

Deleting multiple keywords from the list doesn't seem to be easy. I'm trying to delete some of the default keywords after a new install. Select item in list, hit Delete => Yes ==> focus is lost ... need mouse to focus the list again

Capitalization history bug

Not sure if this is a known bug, but couldn't find it. When recalling history by typing same command, capital letters are converted to small letters. e.g. First run this command from slickrun: putty -P password Go back to slickrun and start typing putty. slickrun will recall the command from history, but "-P" changes to "-p", which is not a valid option... more »

SlickRun on Win 7

I have just installed SlickRun under Windows 7 Enterprise - 64 bit.
When I try to do something simple like drag a URL from IE to the
slickrun task bar, when I get over slickrun, I just get a circle with
a slash through it - as if Slickrun has not authorized itself for drag
and drops. Do you think this is some kind of odd permission issue on... more »

slickrun - addition to right click menu ?

I use slickrun a lot to store web URLs.
It would be a nice addition if, when searching in the magic words, I
could right-click and ''Test this magic word'' to trigger the word.
Great app. I`ve been using it intensively for a long time.

Hi Eric, With SlickRun, I can configure the font of the SlickRun floating command line via Setup, Appearance, Font... to a serif, monospaced font like Courier New. However, I would like to be able also to set the font for the SlickJot window ... I prefer to use a serif, monospaced font there too because I often store code snippets... more »
