The Business of Hollywood with Casting Director Steve Rodriguez

Steve Rodriguez became a professional manager in 1995 and is currently
a partner with McGowan Management. Over the years Steve has
represented more than 10 Series Regulars on such shows as Dexter, Law
& Order, Law & Order: LA and many more. He is annually required to
shepherd his clients through Pilot test deals, as well as negotiating
studio Feature Film projects such as Meet the Parents, Meet the
Fockers, Bloodwork, Good Luck Charlie and the list goes on. His
stature in the business drew attention from the prestigious Loyola
Marymount college in Southern California, where Steve now assists with
an acting student Career Development course as part of their annual
curriculum.

Class Description:
This workshop focuses on personal direction and guidance that will
give the actor insight into the cold reading audition process, help
the actor develop audition and marketing skills and prepare the actor
for a successful career in the industry. This class will include
