Have you considered making a silicon mold, and just plastic casting the piece. Depending on the plastic you could have a part ready every 10-15 minutes.
Hi All, it's my first time here but it was great to see/meet some of you at maker fair!I'm looking for short-term use of a good-working printer, ready to print ABS on a heated bed, to help me bang out a bunch of parts in the next 2 weeks.I'd be happy to pay to "rent" it and run it at my place in berkeley, but will need some help dialing the settings in on your printer as the parts have very high tolerances.the part is for a new product I've been developing (flowtoys.com) and I need to get some serious beta testing at an event next weekend.I'm currently printing on my prusa mendel and getting decent parts at about 1.5h each...I might also be interested in paying per piece for on-going production as the printed parts work perfectly for our application and we will be offering a few variations.it would also be a fun way to meet up and work on something :) and frankly, my parts are OK, but I could really use some advice from a more skilled user!anybody interested? --
