Dear Dawn,

I am writing today to express strong interest in the Director of Media and
Action position with the Buddhist Peace Fellowship. I learned of this
opening through the Buddhist Peace Fellowship e-mail list, and feel that I
would be a great fit for this position. I am a creative professional
devoted to social justice and spiritual practice, ready to hit the ground
running in collaboration with the BPF team.

A motivated self-starter, I am the co-founder and Marketing Coordinator of
SF Kundalini Yoga Flash Class and 3HO San Francisco, non-profit
organization that is currently in its birthing stages. I have previously
served as the Marketing Coordinator for Planet Coexist in Tucson, Arizona,
and I have spearheaded newsletters and publicity, designed logos and
promotional material, marketed through social media, and creatively
directed the growth of their brand images. I have been a core organizer and
fostered the growth of numerous non-profit and volunteer driven
organizations, including Food Not Bombs, Ananda Hills Farm, Planet Coexist,
Ecstatic Dance Tucson, 3HO San Francisco, and SF Kundalini Yoga Flash Class.

A graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design, I possess a strong
visual vocabulary and solid design skills. While interning at Juxtapoz
Magazine, I composed and edited eight blog posts daily, ensuring accuracy
and innovative content in a timely manner through writing reviews and
researching new artists. Easy to work with, I maintain grace and integrity
in a fast paced work environment. Six years of customer service experience
have proven me an effective communicator and team player, quick to learn,
communicate, and collaborate.

I have attached my resume, and I am available to provide any additional
information or references needed. I would gladly meet with you to explore
how my skills could help support the Buddhist Peace Fellowship and the
Turning Wheel's operations.

Warm regards,

Cristina Grecchi
