Hi, I was wondering if OSC (Open Sound Control): [link]
could be of interest for the developers and get to be implemented in
the Baudline? I was thinking on how could one "share" baudline
analisys and measurements to generate other types of data
visualization?

Yes, this is the expected behavior when using the arrow keys to fine
tune the harmonic helper bars. I agree that this behavior isn't ideal
and it is planned to be fixed in a future version of baudline. I
recommend you check out the delta selected measurement window:

Hi Sigblip,

I recently found the following - potentially buggy - behaviour in the
harmonic helper bars:

When in the main window, I press the middle mouse button and the
harmonic helper bars appear. When moving the mouse, the vertical line
on the mousecursor is moved, and the frequency displayed in the bottom

Baudline 1.07 added an equalization convolution feature for audio
playback. Create the desired frequency response in the Equalization
window and then enable it in the Play Deck window:

This new feature can be very useful for a number of different applications.

pitted them against each other. Our mission was to test each Linux

Sorry, baudline's logarithmic frequency axis is still a work in progress. It
would be a great feature to have. Maybe in the next version. Funding would
speed this process up.

Baudline should work fine with the envy24 series of cards. Which brand/model
do you have? Could you post the text output to the command "baudline
-sysinfo"
If you have problems with the envy24 card and the OSS driver/emulation then
you could always use JACK. In fact JACK is currently the only way to utilize

has anyone yet tried the via envy24 series of soundcards with baudline?
the claims would indicate quite an improvement over the typical cards we use.
24bit. (comparing enob with this would be quite interesting)

It sounds like you would like to apply the equaliztion curve to the sample
data stream. This could be done with convolution and it would be a great

I found that the equalization functions auto-collect feature can be
used to 'correct' the 'display' of a second sample.
How do I go about applying this equalization into the sample itself?
I am trying to adjust from the linearity of a sweep file so that when
it is played through a particular environment, the resultant sample

I worked for 5 years at intersonics and was on hand when this device
was invented.
