I will bring some tomatoes and oranges. :) I think that Dalberg,
Lance, Jeremy Beckham, Scott, Mike M, and Steve Schaneville should all
consider. As I said before we should having LSU provide their "best"
speaker to have a college representative. I may consider throwing my
hat in as well...
Mike... I think you kinda have to make a choice as to what you want to
throw...
...either tomatoes and oranges OR your hat.... not both.
If this is going to be similar to the "Speaker Idol" I saw at Tech Ed, then
it should prove to be very entertaining and informative to the audience,
while being educational to the speakers.
I have NO idea what topic I would want to present, but I think I might be
interested in participating as well...
...at least from here, the June 7th date doesn't seem TOO scary...

Baton Rouge’s first Speaker Idol is going to take place on Wednesday,
June 24th.
5 speakers will present on topics of their own choosing. Each
presenter will be given 15 minutes and will be critiqued by judges
afterward. At the end of the night, the top two presenters, as chosen
by the audience, will win gift cards to Best Buy and Barnes and Noble.
We welcome everyone to the event. Our normal prize raffles will take
place, as well as food and drinks presented by our sponsors.
If you or anyone you know is interested in presenting, please email me
by May 26th with you name, email, and topic.
