I submit data feeds for a lot of Yahoo stores. A lot of customers are
reporting getting an email from Google Base as follows:
-----------
Feed status details
Outcome: Data feed upload failed. No items are live. help
Number of items processed: 0
Number of inserted items: 0
Uploaded at: Oct 19, 2008 1:40 am PDT
Processed at: Oct 19, 2008 10:11 am PDT
Detected delimiter: Tab (\t)
Detected encoding: US-ASCII
Detected file format: Text
------------
They are getting this email after many successful uploads by FTP to
Google Base.
I saw a couple other posts in the forums where people had similar
issues, but there were no answers. It looks like this has been an on
and off issue for about three months.
Is this a problem with Google Base? If anyone else is experiencing
the issue, can you post here?

It doesn't show any errors. When the feed is resubmitted by FTP, it
processes successfully. I'll try to gather more information on this
next time it occurs.

I found another account where this happened on Oct. 19, and confirmed
that there is no other error message. I emailed Google support to
inquire as to what happened.

Here's what Google replied regarding this error message:
> Thank you for your email. Our system encountered an error when processing
your data feed. Unfortunately, in order for us to show your items,
we'll
need you to resubmit your file. If nothing has changed since you first
submitted your feed, you can simply send the same file again. We
apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause.
