Curling was the most watched sport in the last winter Olympics. Come learn about this fascinating game of athletic finesse and balance, and watch the game that, has been coined, "Chess on Ice." It is a tremendous game for young and old alike. The Location for this week’s talk is the City Ice Rink right behind Barrow City Hall and next to Piuraagvik.
The first Annual Barrow Invitational Bon Spiel will be in full swing as BHCA has brought in outstanding Curlers from Fairbanks who love to share their knowledge of this intriguing game. For those who want to stick around and get some personalized instruction, there are many qualified instructors on hand. Dress warm and be prepared to have a fun filled afternoon.
