Hey Simon,
For Saturday, if you could set up as many chairs as you can round up (on the weekend for Open Mobile I had extra Emily Carr chairs delivered to the space - that would be best if you can swing that again?) 60-100 would be sufficient for sure, as I know that's roughly the max and comfort zone. A few tables wouldn't hurt - definitely for set up for presenters at front of room. Most audience members will sit happily with laptops in lap.
For tech: please have the main projector and screen ready to role - folks will be bringing in their own laptops to hook up to present in most cases (please let us know what is needed for plug-in for both PC and MAC into the front projector). As well - WIFI is a must. Please confirm a login and password for the day from the school. We can bring in external router in case this is a bust (Since Sunday, IT from school said the MAC PC login on WIFI should be just fine - could you please double check that issue?)
The day:
We have 3 spaces that day for the whole event - Revue Stage, IDS and playwright's theatre - Registration and starter sessions are 9:30-10am taking place over at Revue Stage.... You will have the first session rolling in by 10am - BarCamp organizers will take a spin around to each venue in the morning to double check everything - that will happen at 9am - so if you could be there for 9, that would be great.
Other than that - you're there to keep tech in check in the space for the day which will rotate different sessions every 20 mins - half hour until 5pm.
please forward any and all concerns and questions to the cc ed google group above as the whole organizing team will receive it.
cheers,
megan
