Greetings, barcampers from Riga...
My Austrian colleague Bernd and I (we work for the European Journalism
Centre) had a great time with everyone in Riga. We were happy to see
some folks for the second time and also to meet other new friends -
plus hear so many new ideas. Plus for me, an American, it was the
first time in Eastern Europe, so I got a lot out of the experience
culturally.
I'd like to pass along some information about the Online Journalism
Enterprise and Entrepreneurship unconferencean, an upcoming event we
will attend in Birmingham, England. First off - this one-day event is
free! And at a cool-looking venue -

The wiki about it is here -

One of the organizers is Paul Bradshaw, who moderated a discussion at
our Amsterdam blogger's conference last September... He writes the
Online Journalism Blog -

Also - If you're truly in the entrepreneurial spirit... drop me a line
here at the EJC and we'll see if we can give some support for travel
costs...

Hope to see you there!
