Could you help to inform me how can i fix my khmer unicode on Mac, cos
I have installed Xenotype but it still not view correctly. I have also
followed some instruction that our friends shared on website... but it
still does not work. I used Snow Leopard, MacBook.
I would be grateful if you could help to work out.

| Dear Lim Kimlay, I also use Mac Snow Leopard, and can use Xenotype fonts and Kh Battambang from Mr. Danh Hong correctly with browsers, but not with Office. I just copy the fonts to the font folder, and that's all. The keyboard layout from Xenotype and Nida for mac is the same, just copy it to Libaries/Keyboard Layout. Thanks and best regards, |

In your machine, did you have been installed Khmer Unicode font yet before you install Xenotype font.
If it's true please go to directory font then take it out font you installed before from your machine and reinstall Xenotype font again Because some unicode font doesn't support in Mac yet.
I heard that there are two fonts might support in Mac like Xenotype font and Kh Battambang font.

| Hi Kimlay, As Ratha and Nimol have mentioned, you need to delete old Khmer Unicode fonts if you have install. Xenotype for Mac is AAT fonts, so it doesn't work with some application which support OpenType font only. My Kh-Battambang font works with both AAT and OpenType supported applications, and also with Office 2008 Mac version too. But you need to check ligatures function follow my write in this blog khmertype.blogspot.com If you still have problem, please send me the screenshot, I will find the reason. Best regards, |
