I think it's very exciting to see such a event happening in the
Cambodian capital.
Personally, I'm indeed delighted that Google.org team and Royal
University of Phnom Penh chose Cambodia Japan Cooperation Center
(CJCC), the venue of BarCamp Phnom Penh last year, as their prime
location for their event.
Greetings,
ThaRum

Hello members of the Cambodia tech community,
I was given your names through the email string below. I wanted to
bring to your attention a Google Open House that will be at the Royal
University of Phnom Penh next Thursday, June 25th. This is an
opportunity for NGOs and other organizations to learn more about
Google's free products and services that might be useful to their
efforts locally. Please feel free to distribute this invitation to
any networks you think might be intrested. It is open to the PP
community at large, but registration will close when capacity is
reached.
The June 25th event will also include an overview of the 3 day barcamp
Google is holding at RUPP (Gcamp) with local developers focused on
emerging technologies for emerging infections. We will be looking at
efforts to improve the early detection of disease threats, faster
reporting through the public health system (using mobile and SMS); and
rapid response.
I could probably 'squeeze' in one more person if you decide among
yourselves who might be best to include in Gcamp at RUPP. It would be
good to include your greater community through this one
representative. Seriously, I only have room for one more, so please
let me know who it will be, if anyone. Gcamp is June 22-25th at the
Cambodia Japan Cooperation Center at RUPP.
Many thanks,.
Mark
