Hi,
I come with this topic as want to get your idea on how to recommend a Computer Science school for high school students who just passed the exam recently.

What universities do you think that we should recommend if the students want to be:
- A Software Developer (Web / Desktop) in various technologies (Java / PHP / C# etc.)
- A Network Administrator or System
- A Telecom Network System

Question for companies or managers who always recruit people in ICT field:
1. Have you ever taken in consideration the school where the employees from? (Can see by most of your employees)
2. What kind of people you will recruit?

I want global ideas; today, most universities may change much, so I think it's good to keep knowing around this recommendation to help answer to our new generation.

Thanks for your feedback,
Metrey,

i can give any suggestion but don't mind me because i never study in other university. For software Developer i think RUPP is the best. since the year 1, all student have to study basic programming language is C. from this background, many student can make a decision to continue study in IT or not because many student give up after year 1 to find another skill when they realize that IT is not like they thought.. :D

Just my tiny Idea only

Hello Bang Metrey,

I think Norkor-IT is a software company why don't you ask your colleges? Bang Pirun is coming from RUPP, Bang Buthuoern is coming from ITC+Norton, Layheang is coming from CIST. I think those schools are good for developer, and I would say CIST is a good Networking school :P.

It is just my little idea too!!!

Dear team,

I would like to recommend CIST (Center for Information System Training) because it is the first NGO in Cambodia that provide the good IT skill and all of them can get the job after graduateed. CIST is separated student in to 2 groups. The first group study on System and Network Administrator  and other group is Database Oriented Programming. So all students will be expert with their skill in network or programming that easy to apply for job.

But not all students can enroll this training because it apply only for unprivileged and outstanding student after graduated from high school. It is the scholarship program and all student no need to pay for training and also get allowance during training.

Best regards,
