Barcampians,

Firstly I wanted to let you know that tickets for Future of Web
Apps Miami have started to go on sale. FOWA takes place Feb 22-24,
which means BarCamp Miami will most likely take place on Sunday Feb

Secondly, Ryan Price wanted me to let you guys know about "New
Media Think and Drink: Focus on Community", an event taking place this
Friday, October 16th at 7 PM. Tickets are $6.11, and can be purchased

The purpose of the evening is to bring together folks involved with
community development to discuss best practices, common pitfalls,
emerging tools etc. for using digital and social media to promote
their particular cause. From grassroots campaigns to corporate PR -
what really works!
