Dear Friends, We would like to showcase inspiring and innovative enterprising Indians and enterprises at the TiE Entrepreneurship Summit (TES), from December 21-23 2009, in line with the purpose of "Enterprising India: Changing the Nation, Leading the World" and I seek your support in nominating deserving enterprises / entrepreneurs.. The showcased enterprises and entrepreneurs would be diverse, dynamic and distinctive, and they would open our eyes, engage our imagination and inspire us to aim higher and go further. They can be for-profit or not-for-profit enterprises. We would showcase four such enterprises across each of the following six areas and the following enterprising Indians (the TES Co-Hosts) will introduce them: KV Kamath - Finance 2.0: Services and Solutions Malvinder Singh - Health is Wealth Kishore Biyani - Serving the Indian Consumer Harsh Mariwala - Innovate or Die Narayana Murthy - Education the Great Leveler R. Gopalakrishnan - Make things better, Make better things The nominated enterprises would be evaluated and selected by the Made in India Jury, whose decision will be final and the criteria would be as follows: 1.       Innovative (Game-Changer) 2.       Inspiring 3.       Impactful 4.       Cash Positive / Sustainable The nomination form (that each applicant would need to submit) as also the referral form can be downloaded from the Made In India webpage. The last date for nominations is 15th November. I seek your support in two ways: a) suggest names of enterprises / entrepreneurs would be eligible b) pass this on to relevant people in your network for the same. Do also block your dates for the Summit Dec 21-23; you can register at http://www.tiesummit.org/registration.aspx. FILL THE NOMINATION FORM ONLINE Before you fill the form online: We recommend that you download the nomination form and compose your answers in Microsoft Word or a similar word-processing program. You would need some uninterrupted time dedicated to this task as the questions touch on your goals and accomplishments, and also that of your enterprise. You definitely don't want to write this on the fly! Regards
