May 2nd at 7pm at Horizon Coworking. At this meeting we should be able to
put together an initial budget so we'll know what kind of sponsorship money

1. Discussed sponsorship money.
- $200 sponsorships should be easy.
- Also look for in-kind sponsors (e.g. food, T-shirts, space, etc.)
2. Marketing strategies:
- Keeping "Barcamp Madison" name and not switching to MadCamp or other

still planning on having it in Aug/Sept but I our RSVP count over the last
three years has been going down 140>129>115 and I feel we could do a lot

We had our meeting on Wednesday and this is where we are at currently.
Preston has been doing a great job tracking down a venue. It seems that
WID isn't really an option for this year. However he got a verbal go ahead
that we can use the Engineering Hall. He'll be following up on that lead.... more »
