Hello all. I've noticed for some time that the former Geek Dinners
have been missed by many of the people that went to them previously.
I'd like to lead that to happening again.
Just Geeks. Just Dinner.
None of the networking (but feel free to meet friends without the
pressure) bullshit.
I am currently scouting for a few venues but would love to gage some
more interest so that I can investigate how big of a space I need to
look at for it.
Tenatively, I am looking at having a dinner over Barbara's in the
Brewery artist colony next week.
What days work for all of you?
Jennifer - Sweet! I have recently been talking with Heather on
resurrecting the Geek dinners and was hoping to find other people who
could help organize them. Next weekend 21st/22nd works for me. I
will get the keys to the g33k dinner kingdom from Heather so we can
get the word out.

Sure thing. Unfortunately I don't think I could do that weekend but I
could possibly do it during the week.
That weekend has 2 roller derby bouts. Which, everyone is more than
welcome to attend as well.

I would love help organizing it. I think a weekday would be best
personally.
Feel free to email me.

Your timing is impeccable, Scott and I were just discussing bringing these back and were about to begin a quest to find a co-leader. And here you are! Love how the world works this way. Let's set up a call in the near future and I can pass along best practices/plans/org so you don't have to re-invent the wheel. As well as get access to the assets that support it.
Yay! Geek Dinner.
Anyone else interested in bringing this back, speak up and we'll rope you in.

Best email to reach me is stavros [dot] jennifer [at] gmail [dot] com.
My email for the group here is different but I get both emails to the
same box.
Pop me an email and we can arrange a time to chat (after the 9-5)
more about things.
I've been wanting to do this for some time now.
I will be at the Collaboration project tonight at the Brewery later as
well
if anyone wants to attend. It's once a month organized by my neighbor
Kevin Flint.

Looking forward to seeing many of you again at the geek dinners
version 2.0 :)
Cheers,
