The Wiki at:

http://barcamp.org

has a ton of good information. Personally, I'd check there to see if
anyone in your area is already organizing events. If so, you're set,
just talk to them. If not, then... make one up. BarCamps are locally
organized events, there is no "central command," and you do not
need to ask permission to start one. But again, there's great info
on the wiki, so definitely spend a bit of time browsing around and
reading.

Rashmi,
In terms of Gurgaon, the local BarCamp is usually a combination of
Delhi/Noida and Gurgaon. We just had a BarCamp in October. There
isn't another one planned right now but you can get more info from www.barcampdelhi.com
and you can join the barcampdelhi google group.

This time around there were presentations on technology, intellectual
property theft, the financial crisis, entrepreneurship and getting
married, etc. It's retty diverse what people will talk about. You
can probably get more information by also doing a search on technorati
and twitter on "BCD", "BCD5" or "BarCampDelhi5". I was involved in
organizing parts of BCD5 and also gave a presentation. If you'd like
to get involved, feel free to contact me directly.

Cheers
