Bangkok Google Wave DevFest/Hackathon on July 11 & 12!!!

You MUST register here: http://sites.google.com/a/proteus-tech.com/wave-hackathon/ to get your Google Wave access id BEFORE July 8th because I'm required to submit all id requests as a single batch.

Even if you replied to me before you need to register on the site so we can confirm your participation. This is going to be a great opportunity to get early access to a very cool technology and meet/work with local developers & designers. You don't need to be a programmer to participate as there are needs to XML,HTML, and general web designers as well.

I just thought most of people are now on vacation and see this email on 8 or 9 th.

And also myself, i want to let my staff to join it but it'll be after Thursday to confirm.

I think we can use my office, but gotta check projects schedule with Tokyo side.

Are you thinking to make it overnight 2 days event? Personally, It'll be better if we can postpone date. I want to make sure if myself and everybody available on the date.

A bunch of people already signed up, and having the event as early as
possible is a big part of what makes it exciting.

The holiday is unfortunate, but I think even on vacation people most
people would check their e-mail? Maybe if we made an effort to contact
everybody who previously showed interest and let them know registration
is up?

But overall I see no reason to postpone, just my 2 cents.

OK we need to make a decision pretty quickly then. I had one other person request a delay for the following weekend as well. So - anyone with a strong opinion - please weigh in now if you prefer to have it on the weekend of July 11-12 or July 18-19.

If everybody signed up and ok with the date, then fine for me. Just
thought everybody know about this but not date.

Anyway, we can use our office but just want to know if people stay
overnight or not.

I am happy to do it this weekend or next - whatever works best. I don't anticipate people are going to be spending the night although people are certainly able to if they like @ the proteus offices.Presently there are 15 signed up but more than half can only attend on Saturday. We had 28 express interest so if we can hit > 20 by Tuesday then I will feel ok about it. Otherwise should seriously consider postponing. I may back registration deadline out by one day if we need.
