On the basis of input received, the following issues were suggested for highlighting in the second phase of action programs
 (i)   Demand of Updation of Pension to be highlighted with specific formula
(ii) Ex-gratia Payment to Pensions from Private Sector Banks
(iii) Free medical insurance/ facility to retirees
(iv) In view of the fact that SBI pension along with contributory PF benefit has become at par with pension in other banks, pensioners of public sector banks should be suitably compensated.
(v)UBRFO should launch action programs to pursue demand of OPS (Defined pension scheme) to the employees who joined banks after 2010 in place of present NPS and work for it at the organizational level on continuous basis which may include submission of memorandum, meeting Central Ministers and Members of Parliament, raising the issue in Parliament etc. Detailed study will be carried out in this regard.

It appears that retirees' associations have totally forgotten/abandoned the issue of rectifying the anomaly in calculation of ex-gratia of pre Nov 2002 pensioners who continue to receive ex-gratia based on the tapered DA of October 2022 and have thus been losing a substantial amount every month. Is this because this group of pensioners comprise just around 10% of the total number of pensioners?

I feel that UFBRO should seek meeting time with Prime Minister
It may take time but can be more fruitful rather than going after these leftist and INDI nuggets
